That’s right! We over here at Creative Impact want to make sure that you don’t go naked with your promotional items. Let us put a logo on it!
Promotional items are a powerful marketing tool that set your business or organization apart from others. You can be sure to get your logo added to any item you can possibly think of; pens, mugs, bags, golf balls, frisbees, keychains, etc.

The developer, Anthony Feint, brings us a brand new service. It’s called write.fm and it is just one of those tools that are so simple, you just have to love it! It brings note and file sharing to a new level of simplicity. Visit the page, modify the title if you wish (or leave it at the default which is a unique string of characters), enter some text, add a file if you wish, and then hit save. The url to your note is now write.fm/{title}. Simple as that. Share the title and you’re good to go!
So… with our last post in mind, we decided we just had to share this hilarious song about the iPhone 4 issue. Originally featured on TechCrunch.
He has a point!!
Social media networking site, Virb drops some bold statements… read below in their release timeline, and be sure to follow the link.
“Wednesday, August 4: Once the team and I feel everything is up to par, we bring the new Virb to life; opening the beta to the world. Note: We also need time to make sure Virb.com will operate properly, no matter how you hold your computer.”
Perhaps the iPhone Antennae incident will go down in history, perhaps it will be forgotten, but this we know… it has become an instant culture item!
Hello Friends,
I was called upon to contribute a short “Best Business Practices” presentation at one of my favorite business referral meetings recently. I was perusing an old book on my shelf and came across some good information I thought worth sharing. After the meeting I had several requests for the notes from my talk. So, here you go.
IS THIS YOUR LIFE TOO?
- Six months at red lights
- One year searching for personal belongings amongst clutter
- Eight months sorting junk mail
- Two years playing telephone tag
- Three years Attending Meetings
- Five Years waiting in line
- Six years eating
-Above stats from a USA Today Study
As we keep track of our time here is a list that has been named “the dirty dozen”
- Procrastination
- Unnecessary Tasks due to poor habits
- Distractions or Interruptions
- Poor Telephone use
- Needless or lengthy meetings
- Excessive socializing
- Unclear organizational goals
- Inability to say “No”
- Overcommitting
- Red Tape / Paper Shuffling
- Poor Delegation
- Waiting for others to complete tasks
In Conclusion
Consider your time stealers and evaluate them with your friends and associates or a business coach. Decide what you might add or take away from the list. Remember you can rationalize all your time bandits but you can’t hide the fact that they will make unmistakable statements about your goals, philosophy, values, intentions & needs. Simply stated, they will keep you from your objectives. We must learn to Major on the Majors and Minor on the Minors. Be committed to your life goals and make sure your activity is in alignment

I’m always asked, “What does your company do?” or “what is I.T.?” Those are great questions! OnSite Computer Specialists manages networks and small business technology ranging from 10 computers to over 200 computers. We assist current I.T. staff or replace them when it makes sense. If you have technology questions or network issues shoot me an email at noah@onsite123.com.
Creative Impact will be sending representatives to the Mega Marketplace at the Cocoa Civic Center this year. It is a powerful marketing event that is really best described as speed dating for networkers. It is an intense day of networking where you personally meet with and have brief meetings with over 100 other business people from across Brevard County. It is very exciting and we can not wait for tomorrow.
Connections are the life blood of any business and networking is one of the most powerful ways to build those connections. You can not sell your service or spread your branding without making connections with other business people or potential clients.
See you at the Mega Marketplace!

A powerful internet presence can get your company in front of your client in places you personally could never go. A powerful web presence can impress, surprise, sell to, inform, or even humor a potential client or patron right in their very own office or even better… living room. They are comfortable and safe. They are browsing at their own will and looking for information. Now is the time to impress them. Now is the time to sell them.
When one of your potential clients or patrons heads to the massive world that is the internet to look up your business or perhaps just look up your industry… will they find you? And if they do find you, will they be impressed? Will they find the information they are looking for? Will they take the next step and contact you or visit your office/store?
“In a world where your web presence is a gateway directly into your client’s office or living room, we help you make a powerful impact with that web presence. A Website is your businesses personal identity on the internet. Your web presence. So if you have a business, but don’t have a website, we can help you get a powerful and custom internet presence.”
This is where we step in to help. We offer our clients free consultation to see just what they need. Perhaps they need a more impacting and impressive design for their website, better content and structure, or an easier user navigation. Or perhaps they need to be ranked higher in the search engine results such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. Whatever it is, we can sit down and give them our advice.
A website today really helps to establish who you are and helps build trust. It is your online office or store location. It represents you and many times is the first impression anyone will get of you and your company.
So… does your internet presence draw your potential clients in? Does it impress them? Does it move them to act? If not… give us a call!

So it appears that someone finally went out and created their own “dislike” button. After all of the petitions and begging from the Facebook community, someone decided to take it upon themselves to go ahead and create this universal “dislike” button. Code for this button can be added to any website. Check out more information in the Mashable article below.
I’m not sure why anyone in their right mind would actually go to the trouble of adding a dislike button to their website, but I am sure we will find amazingly useful applications for this new social media button!

We get done building a fantastic website for a client, complete with Flash banner, custom graphics, and some high end programming with database management… now what? We put it live. But what exactly does that mean?
Well, when we put a website on the internet, we have to put it somewhere. The images and other files have to actually be stored somewhere. That is where web hosting comes in. It is the space on a large computer ( called a server) where all of your website files are stored. This server runs many different programs and applications to keep your website running smoothly.
If your website can be likened to your house, then web hosting is like the real estate you build your house on. It’s the empty land.
Web hosting is “rented” on a monthly or yearly basis and is required for any website to be available on the internet.
“Great, so it’s just space… so then any web hosting will do then, right?!”
Unfortunately it is not that easy. Shopping for web hosting can be very difficult as many factors have to be taken into consideration… such as:
- What is the price?
- Does the server have good up-time?
- What features does it have?
- What programs is it running?
- What programming languages does it support?
- How up to date are the programs on the server?
- What kind of statistical information is available?
- Does it support email? If so, is it an extra charge?
- How reliable is the email system?
- What kind of support do I get? Is the company local?
Our hosting services are priced competitively for the quality product we provide. All of our hosting accounts receive unlimited storage space, unlimited email accounts, up to date servers and programs, 99% up-time guaranteed (our server has never gone down), supports all the major programming languages, full analytical and statistical information, and so much more! We are also a local company that is right here for our clients.
We do our very best to make having a website as easy and painless as possible for our clients, which is why we provide web hosting services. This allows our clients to have all of their web needs with just one company. This keeps everything very simple and easy to manage.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We are here to help!
